KATHMANDU, May 26: Namgya C Khampa, Charge D'affaires, Embassy of India, inaugurated the upgraded infrastructure of Shree Pal Ewam Namgyal Monastic School in Lomanthang, Chhonhup, Mustang district of Nepal.
The project was undertaken by DCC Mustang with the grant assistance from the Government of India at the cost of Rs 26.30 million. It is High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDP) under India-Nepal Development Cooperation and one of the 75 projects being inaugurated this year in Nepal as part of "India@75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" which celebrates 75 years of India’s independence.
Similarly, a school bus was gifted to the Shree Pal Ewam Namgyal Monastic School and an ambulance was gifted to the Gharapjhong Rural Municipality during the inauguration program.
