KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Protesters have gathered at Maitighar Mandala to express their solidarity to folk singer Pashupati Sharma, who was forced to remove his new song title ‘Lootna Sake Loot” from Youtube following the threat from the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Youths including cadres from Bibeksheel Nepali Party chanted slogans against the government policy to restrict the freedom of expression and government attack in democracy and fundamental rights.


Protesters sang and danced to the song on loudspeakers during the event.
