KATHMANDU, July 16: More than two dozen rights’ activists have been detained for protesting at prohibited area in front of the parliament at New Baneshwor.
The Human Rights and Peace Society Nepal organzied a rally condemning government's arbitary and anti-human rights policies thta curb freedom of expression and right to peaceful protests, both of which are enshrined on the country's constitution.
Of those arrested, 21 are male and four are female.
