KATHMANDU, Jan 21: Devotees celebrating the one-month long Madhav Narayan festival arrived at the Pashupatinath Temple on Saturday morning as part of the procession of the idol of Madhav Narayan journey to different places.
During this holy month, the devotees roll on the roads, wrapping white cloths on their bodies and offering the holy water to different deities on different days. They take a holy dip in ponds. Thousands of devotees throng the holy site during this period.

Similarly, the idol of Madhav Narayan of Sakhnu is carried to the Pashupatinath temple, Shees Narayan of Pharping, Hanuman Ghat, Changunarayan, Panauti, and then returned to Sankhu.
