In Pictures: Kathmandu metropolis starts removing haphazardly placed internet, cable TV wire from city areas

KATHMANDU, May 8: The haphazardly placed wires within the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) are being removed on Monday jointly by the KMC, the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) and various internet service provider companies.

In a discussion held on Sunday between NTA, representatives of internet service provider companies and KMC, the metropolis said that NTA and internet service provider companies are ready to remove the mess of entangled wires in the metropolis area from Monday.

The haphazardly placed wires in Maitighar and New Road areas are being removed from 8 am today.
