KATHMANDU, July 14: Construction entrepreneurs have taken to the streets protesting against the failure of the government to settle their due even as the ongoing Fiscal Year (FY) 2022/23 is ending soon.

The construction entrepreneurs have maintained that a large sum of money has not been paid by the government to them. The Federation of Contractors’ Association of Nepal (FCAN) staged a sit-in at Maitighar Mandala protesting against the failure of the government to settle their dues and its decision to extend the deadline to settle the dues.
