Impact of NCP (Dahal-Nepal faction)’s general strike in Bhaktapur: Police returning vehicles, people from Jadibuti

BHAKTAPUR, Feb 4: Bhaktapur, one of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley, has witnessed a normal impact of the general strike staged by the rival faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) close to Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal.

BHAKTAPUR, Feb 4: Bhaktapur, one of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley, has witnessed a normal impact of the general strike staged by the rival faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) close to Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal.


Although a very few vehicles are plying the major streets and squares, a significant number of vehicles in the interior parts of the cities as well as  businesses are also seen open.

Police were seen returning the vehicles heading to Kathmandu at the Jadibuti-Koteshwor section of the Kathmandu-Bhaktapur road, a major entry point from Bhaktapur.
