KATHMANDU, July 19: Richard Howard, Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Country Office for Nepal, has said that the ILO was always committed to provide a better lifestyle to the laborers which will contribute to economic development of the country.
Speaking at an interaction on 'Labor Dimension of Corporate Social Responsibility', organized by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in collaboration with the ILO, Howard said that the organization was working to promote private sector and provide a better lifestyle to the laborers for helping the country achieve sustainable economic growth.

Also speaking at the program, CNI President Hari Bhakta Sharma said that globalization has helped the least developed countries like Nepal in economic development.
“Economically strong countries and multinational companies should help the least developed countries in technology transfer and attracting foreign investment,” he added.
