ILAM, Dec 26: The Agricultural Fair kicked off in Illam on Sunday with an objective to promote the local produces.
Organized by the District Agriculture Development Office (DADO), Ilam, a total of 170 farmers in eight groups have set up stalls showcasing various crops like rice, maize, wheat and millet as well as cash crops such as zinger and sugarcane.
A wide variety of pulses, fruits and vegetables are also put on display in the three-day fair where three outstanding exhibitors will be awarded RS 1000, Rs 700 and Rs 300 respectively, the DADO Office, Ilam said. RSS
