KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that agriculture-based industries should be developed to strengthen the country’s economy.
Addressing the Nepal Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2022 held in Kathmandu on Sunday, Chairman Dahal said that agriculture is the main backbone of the country's economic development.

He said that while the economy of the country is being pushed further back, agriculture-based industries should be developed to strengthen the economy. He said that investment in agriculture is necessary for the country. Dahal said that after agriculture, the development of hydropower, tourism, herbs and minerals will also help the country's economy.
Similarly, Dahal also mentioned that if the youth are entreprising, the country can be guided toward a self-sufficient economy. He said that he will spend the rest of his life working for economic revolution.
