KATHMANDU, April 17: An unidentified group exploded an improvised explosive device in front of the Chaudhary Group of Industries at Devchuli municipality of Nawalparasi-East.

The explosion took place at 5:20 PM, according to the District Police Office. “It was a small explosion and there was no casualty," Inspector Rajendra Adhikari said. “The Netra Bikram Chand’s outfit has declared a general strike tomorrow and we’ve stepped up security presence,” he added.
