Ideal School and Sainik Awasiya progress

KATHMANDU, June28: Ideal School and Sainik Awasiya School secured their places in the girl's regional level event of the Coca Cola Inter-school Football Tournament as both the teams won their respective matches at Sano Gaucharan in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Ideal School beat Saint Xavier's School 4-0, while Sainik School recorded 3-1 win over Nepal Rastriya School to secure their places in the regional level competition.

In Ideal School's win, Laxmi Tamang scored a brace, while Preeti Rai and Sita Ale Magar scored a goal. Similarly, Nisha Chaudhary, Sabita Bhandari and Sandhya Puri scored a goal each for Sainik School and Jyangbu Sherpa netted for Nepal Rastriya.
