KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Nepal has marked an impressive start in the T-20 World Cup finals in Asia, securing an emphatic 8-wicket victory in their opening match against Singapore.
At the Tribhuwan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal successfully chased down Singapore's target of 146 runs, led by Kushal Bhurtel's superb half-century. Bhurtel's magnificent performance enabled Nepal to reach the desired total, losing only 2 wickets in 16.3 overs.
