“I respect and welcome the order of the Supreme Court’s constitutional bench to reinstate the House of Representatives (HoR). I request all the leaders and cadres of the CPN-UML to move forward with restraint and patience to preserve the unity of the CPN-UML for the remaining term of the House of Representatives under the changed circumstances,” he said.
Bhattarai also expressed confidence that the 10-point agreement reached on Sunday evening to resolve intra-party differences would help them to keep the unity of the UML intact. “I believe that the CPN-UML will remain united both inside and outside the parliament by sincerely implementing the 10-point agreement that was finalized yesterday [Sunday],” Bhattarai said.
