Thapa made it clear that he was in favor of a Hindu nation and a constitutional monarchy in principle. "Even in the past I was in favor of a constitutional and ceremonial monarchy, I still am and I will be in the future," he said.
Given the geopolitical situation of Nepal, the religious and socio-cultural environment of Nepal, it is believed that the monarchy should be ceremonial and constitutional monarchy as a common guardian above politics. However, Thapa said that the decision would be taken in the coming days after discussing with the allies of the new party.
He said that discussions are underway on whether to include the monarchy agenda in the new party, but no decision has been taken yet. Thapa announced to form a new party a few days ago. He said that preparations are underway to register the new party at the Election Commission.
