KATHMANDU, March 29: Hyatt Regency Kathmandu has said that it participated in Earth Hour, an activity launched by World Wildlife Forum (WWF).
According to the hotel, Earth Hour is celebrated to raise awareness and demonstrate support for environmentally sustainable action.

Issuing a statement, the hotel said that Earth Hour is an annual global initiative, which is celebrated on the last Saturday of March every year from 20:30 to 21:30 hours local time.
The hotel had switched off the lights in public areas from 8:30 PM and lit candles to celebrate Earth Hour. According to the hotel, it requested all its guests to participate in the event by switching off the lights and power devices in their rooms.
