BABIYACHOUR (Myagdi), July 30: An elderly person died and his wife was injured when a house collapsed at Shikh VDC in Myagdi district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Aita Singh Damai, 86, of Shikh-2, according to the District Police office, Myagdi.
Similarly, Rupa Damai, 83, sustained injury in the incident.
The incident took place when their two-storey houses collapsed due to torrential rain.
Rupa has been receiving treatment at Shikh health post while the body of Aita Singh has been sent to Beni for post mortem. RSS
