Husband and wife found dead in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Jan 10: A couple has been found dead in Chitwan. Prem Rana Magar, 22, and his wife 21-year-old Buddhi Maya Rana Magar aka Shanti of Lamjunge Tol, Ward No 29 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, were found dead in their house this morning.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the husband was hanging from the wall of his room with a nylon rope. Police said that his wife was found dead next to the fireplace, outside the house.

Deceased Buddhi Maya Rana has injuries on her head. Police have suspected that the husband might have killed the wife first and then committed suicide. An investigation is currently underway.
