Next Models Nepal is gearing up to organize 'Designer of the Year' competition for Nepali fashion designers. According to a press statement released by Next Models Nepal, the winner of the competition will get a chance to explore international fashion market.

Quoting the President of Next Models Nepal, Rabi Damala the press statement stated, "The winner of the competition will get to participate and showcase their designs in LBM Star Awards 2019 in Korea, Pune Fashion Week 2019 and Fashion Expo 2019. Likewise, the winner will able to participate in 'Milan Fashion week'."

The designers who are participating in the competition will get training on grooming, self marketing, fashion entrepreneurship, media marketing and more as per the press statement. The registration has already begun and is open till end of February. The press statement added that the participants should be a designer student or working in fashion designing field for around two years. And the registration charge is Rs 500 where there will be an audition round. In the audition round, the participants have to showcase their sketch to the judges to be eligible for the grand event which is scheduled for March 2.
