KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The Rotaract Club is on a hunt for Mr and Miss Rotaract 2017 with charismatic personality and intelligence. 

According to a press statement released by the Club, the contest would be held for the first time in the country. The contest will provide a platform for Rotaract members to showcase their skills, personality and talent to the entire nation.

After completing the first round of auditions in Kathmandu on October 28, the second round of auditions for Mr and Miss Rotaract were held nation-wide on November 4. The auditions were held in Dharan, Pokhara, Narayangarh and Butwal. As many as 75 participants have already been selected through the auditions. 

Similarly, a total of 86 participants had auditioned for the Kathmandu auditions. The event is an attempt to provide a platform for the members to test their abilities in problem solving, decision-making and leadership.

There are over 120 Rotaract Clubs all over Nepal and the clubs have around 3,500 members. Phase one of the contest has concluded with finalizing candidates and auditions, while phase two includes a three-day boot camp for the final 36 participants that will be held in December.
The grand finale will take place in the end of December.
