BANEPA, Dec 12: A team of human rights activists has reached Sano Bangthali-7 in Kavrepalanchowk district today to take stock of the incident involving death of a local woman.
Many assumptions have been made since 32-year-old Laxmi Pariyar's death on last Saturday under mysterious circumstances came to fore.
Amid this, the human rights activists have arrived at the incident site for the fact finding, according to Nabinraj Rai, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at District Police Office, Kavrepalanchok.
Victim's son Suman Pariyar has been accusing his school teacher Hira Lama and his mother for feeding Pariyar faeces and thrashing her five days before she was found dead.
The other witnesses, according to DSP Rai, have not admitted feeding faeces and accusing Pariyar of practicing witchery as accused by the victim's son.
Police have arrested four accused in connection to the incident and investigation was underway, said DSP Rai. RSS
