Huma Qureshi is away in the USA and won’t be home in India till the beginning of September. The actress, who turns a year older tomorrow, will be celebrating her birthday away from family and friends, which is a first of sorts for her. Her brother Saqib Saleem is a part of Kabir Khan’s ‘83 and is currently in England for shooting the film with the rest of the cast. Her parents are in Delhi and will also not be with her in the US when she blows her birthday candles. Buzz is that her parents could visit her sometime in August for a week or two.

“Huma and Saqib have often made time to be with their parents on special occasions in the year, including Eid and birthdays. However, this is one of those rare occasions when the brother and sister are occupied with professional commitments and won’t be home with their folks and friends. Huma hopes to do something fun and exciting with her colleagues in America, and probably she will make new friends this year,” says a source close to the actress.

On the work-front, the actress has not been taking on too many film offers. Her last few movie outings over the last two years were Kaala, Jolly LLB 2, Viceroy's House and Dobara: See No Evil.
