Parsa, Nov 1: Three people have been arrested on the charge of cheating people by promising them a job as the myadi or temporary police. 


It may be noted that the government has been recruiting people as temporary police person to serve during the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and state assemblies.

Hari Narayan Ram of Bahudarmai municipality-1, Parsa, Basundev Yadav and Chathu Mahara Chamar of ward no-5 of the same municipality were arrested for taking money from people to get them recruited as temporary police persons, according to SP at the District Police Office, Parsa Dr Ganesh Regmi. Based on a tip-off, they were arrested along with evidence of their fraudulent activities. 


Police recovered 22 sets of original entrance card of examinees, 20 duplicate copies of such cards, five health check-up reports, three mobile telephone sets and Rs. 37,100 in cash. (RSS)
