KATHMANDU, June 28: The meeting of the Legislature-Parliament that was rescheduled for 5:30 pm on Tuesday evening has been postponed till 11 am tomorrow.

The meeting was postponed by pasting a notice after top leaders requested Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar to that end saying that they are close to a deal on lifting obstruction at the House by the main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC).

“The meeting was postponed following a request from the leaders,” Press Advisor to Speaker, Babin Sharma told Republica Online.

NC has been obstructing the meeting of the parliament since Friday demanding to dole out Rs 200,000 in a lump sum to earthquake victims.
