BIRATNAGAR, Sept 6: An operator of Oxford Hostel located in Tintoliya, Biratnagar-13, Bijay Yadav, has been found dead after being hit by a sharp weapon.

21-year-old Yadav was found murdered ruthlessly with his legs and head severed from his body with the weapon. He was a tenant at the house of one Omkar Shrestha.

Jagdish Yadav, Bijay’s father said that the hostel had just shifted a few days back to Tintoliya and Bijay was renting at Shrestha’s house.

The house owner said that his family had gone to Dhankuta four days before the incident due to some emergency works. However, they cut short their trip after the incident.

A team of Nepal Police Force and Armed Police Force has started investigation into the case after sealing the house.

“He has been murdered in a similar way terrorists kill people brutally. I had never seen such a ruthless killing,” said a police official investigating the case.

Police after discovering some beer bottles in Yadav’s room, suspect that someone was with him on the day of the murder.

Neighbor Shyam Bahadur Singh said that he had seen a jeep parked in front of the house at around 5 am on the day of the incident.

Police believe that the murderer might have planned to keep the dead body in the car and dispose it. But, the car driver informed police after seeing the dead body in the sack.

SP Sandeep Bhandari told Republica Online that they have intensified investigation into the case.
