Host Rosebud makes winning start

KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Host Rosebud School made a winning start to the First Rosebud Valley-wide Inter-school Basketball Tournament beating Colombus College in the boys' section on Tuesday. 

In the match played at its home court in Buddhanagar, Rosebud registered a 65-41 win over Colombus College. Joseph Maharjan contributed highest 12 points for the winning team. 
In other matches of the boys' section, Universal College and Times College emerged victorious beating Nobel Academy and Xavier International College respectively. Universal overcame Nobel Academy 43-35 and Times College registered 51-39 victory over Xavier International College. 
Likewise, in the girls' section, host Rosebud faced 36-22 defeat at the hands of Xavier International. Xavier's Karma Sherpa contributed highest 15 points.
