House of Representatives suspended till March 26 owing to coronavirus outbreak fears

KATHMANDU, March 20: A meeting of the business advisory committee of the House of Representatives has decided to suspend the lower house till March 26 due to the coronavirus outbreak fears.

According to spokesperson at the HoR Roj Nath Pandey, the next meeting of the parliament will take place at 1 PM on March 26.

However, a meeting of the National Assembly scheduled for 1 PM tomorrow will be taking place despite the government's appeal not to hold gathering of more than 25 people.
