HoR meeting today

KATHMANDU, Oct 28: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is being held at the federal parliament building at New Baneshwor on Thursday.

The parliament sitting adjourned on October 11 is set to resume after 16 days. The meeting convened on Tuesday was postponed to Thursday at the request of the main opposition CPN-UML. There is no specific agenda for the meeting.

The main opposition UML, which has been chanting slogans in the lower house since the beginning of the parliament session, has not decided whether to continue with the obstruction in Thursday's meeting. A UML source said, "What to do in the meeting will be decided only after an internal discussion on Thursday morning."
