Likewise, responding to the lawmakers’ concerns in the HoR meeting on the Bill Designed to Recover Public Debt 2022, Finance Minister Sharma said debts would be collected only if necessary.
In response to propelling capital expenditure, Minister Sharma informed the House that some laws should be amended and the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has stepped up the needed processes for this issue.
Minister Sharma also argued that productions should be encouraged by discouraging loans.
“Credit should be accepted on the basis of the project. Serious discussions have been held in a way to accept loans only in case the projects could repay it,” he added.
