The Participatory Approach for Safe Shelter Awareness (PASSA), a group formed as part of Habitat Nepal’s Nepal Earthquake Assistance Program, identified Lata Man as one of the most affected persons in the community, allowing him to receive extra support, such a help, top-ups and labor support, on top of the typical reconstruction grants offered to rebuild his house.

Their day of community service allowed them to interact with the community, work side by side with families, listen to their stories and learn by seeing how things work in practice.
