KATHMANDU, June 26: To mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Trafficking, the Ministry of Home Affairs organized a march on Wednesday.


The main organizing committee, spearheaded by the Drug Control Section under the Ministry of Home Affairs, led the march from Bhrikutimandap to the Army Officers Club in Kathmandu.

Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane participated in the morning march.


This day is celebrated annually on June 26 to promote a healthy lifestyle and to prevent and control the rising issue of drug abuse.
