RAJBIRAJ, May 6: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has urged all the political parties and eligible voters to take part in the upcoming May 13 local level election.

RAJBIRAJ, May 6: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has urged all the political parties and eligible voters to take part in the upcoming May 13 local level election. 


Addressing a security meeting organized in Rajbiraj of Saptari district on Thursday, Home Minister Khand asked the local administration and security bodies to work for the creation of election atmosphere to ensure participation of general public and political parties.

According to Minister Khand’s Personal Secretariat, Home Minister Khand appealed to the political parties that never participated in polls to join the citizens’ empowerment and development efforts by taking part in the election.


Minister Khand also pledged that the government is committed to holding the local level polls in a free, fair and impartial manner.


He also lauded the efforts made by security bodies and local administration for the security provision despite limited resources available.


Other participants at the event shared the efforts made for the preparation of the May 13 local level polls.
