KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Hom Prasad Gautam has been appointed the general manager of the Sajha Prakashan, the state-owned publication house.
Gautam was appointed to the post as per the decision made by the meeting of the Sajha Prakashan board of directors held last week, according to a press release issued by Sajha Prakashan today.

Gautam has been involved in social works and political affairs in Jhapa district for the past four decades.
"Sajha Prakashan which has been struggling hard in the recent years is expected to flourish under the leadership of Mr. Gautam in the coming days," read the press release.
He has replaced Rishiram Pangeni. Pangeni is currently undersecretary at the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
