RATANANAGAR, July 21: Dikshya Rimal of Chitwan has been conferred with an international award.
Though Dixa herself is the HIV/AIDS victim, she has contributed for the betterment of the HIV sufferers.
Due to her such praiseworthy deeds, she was honored with the award. The Red Ribbon International Award carries the purse of 10,000 US dollar.
The award was provided to her on Wednesday in South Africa. She got the prize defeating 20 competitors on the occasion of the 21st International Aids Conference yesterday.
She even has set up a social organization called Active Women Foundation and has been providing counseling to the HIV affected people for their easy life. RSS
