'Hiking Kathmandu', a travel guide by Prakriti Premi Group member, Ram Devi Maharjan was launched on Saturday at Nepal Tourism Board, Pradarsani Marg. Maharjan’s book is a compilation of articles about hiking around Kathmandu. The book aims to cater travel enthusiasts with hiking route information in the valley. The book includes 64 hiking routes and one dozen home stay facilities available in different parts of Kathmandu. For better pre-assumption of the routes, the book also provides visual guidelines in forms of maps and photographs.

Hiking Kathmandu was jointly launched by Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of Nepal Tourism Board founder of Prakriti Premi Group, Dr.Umesh Shrestha, the group's President Ramesh Chitrakar, Director of Map House, Pawan Shakyar, and the writer herself.
The book also provides biking and driving routes information along the valley. In the event, the author informed that she was looking to including 100 hiking routes in the next edition of the book. Meanwhile, the publishers are also preparing for the English version of the same book. Hiking Kathmandu is priced at Rs 700.
