High Court orders district file retrieval in Rabi, Chhabi cases

BUTWAL, Nov 6: The Butwal bench of Tulsipur High Court has ordered the district court of Rupandehi to submit files related to Rastriya Swatantra Party chair Rabi Lamichhane and former DIG Chhabiraj Joshi.

Previously, the bench had directed that both Lamichhane’s and Joshi’s similar cases be heard together. Lamichhane is currently in custody for the Supreme Cooperative fraud case, where a collective bail of Rs 109.36 million has been set for all defendants; he has submitted his portion of Rs 27.48 million.
