NAWALPARASI, July 27: Armed Police Force, Border Security Office, has adopted high-alertness at Nepal-India bordering areas in western Nawalparasi.
Superintendent of Police at APF, Gahardhan Rai, said that high-alertness has been adapted to stop encroachment of no man's land, to look after border pillars as well as to control criminal activities and smuggling at border areas.
Similarly, Chief District Officer Debendra Lamichhane said that the high-alertness has been adopted at Nepal-India bordering areas coordinating with all security bodies as controlling criminal activities taking place at Nepal-India bordering areas was the main responsibility of local administration.
