KATHMANDU, July 5: The Ministry of Labor and Employment has set up a help desk to look into cases of fraud in the foreign employment sector and for rescue.

Minister for Labor and Employment Pharmullah Mansoor opened the help desk amidst a program here Wednesday.

On the occasion, Minister Mansoor informed that the help desk would work by establishing coordination with the Department of Foreign Employment and Foreign Employment Promotion Board. "I've been receiving various complaints relating to foreign employment. Now, this very desk would address such problems."

According to him, any problems that the desk could not handle would go the Department and Board, then to himself in final.

The Minister claimed that he was effortful to make the foreign employment secure, respectful and well-paid. Easy acquisition of free ticket and visa was another point the Ministry was mulling, he added.

Moreover, Minister Mansoor made commitment: "I'm not a person guided by personal gains, so I don't spare anyone working for personal gain in the Department and the Board."

He further said anyone filing complaint could reach the Ministry even by phone or email. RSS
