Helicopter to be mobilized in Pathivara Temple area as a final attempt to bring forest fire under control

TAPLEJUNG, Dec 28: As the forest fire in Pathivara Temple Area has gone out of control, the local bodies are making preparations for aerial firefighting.

According to the Pathivara Temple Development Committee, a helicopter of Simrik Airlines is to be mobilized at the incident site to control the fire.

After failing to control the fire despite mobilizing a large number of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel, the committee decided to bring in a helicopter to control the fire and protect the historical Pathivara Temple.

The forest fire is nearing the Temple, according to the officials.

The forest fire that started in a community forest of the temple area on Thursday is yet to be brought under control.
