POKHARA, Jan 14: A helicopter carrying five leaders of the Nepali Congress including the party’s President Sher Bahadur Deuba made an emergency landing in Gorkha on Thursday due to foggy weather.
The helicopter belonging to Kailash Air made the emergency landing at Aampipal in Palungtar Municipality-2, according to Superintendent of Police Surendra Gurung at the District Police Office, Gorkha.
Deuba and four other leaders were flying to Shanker Pokhari in Parbat to attend a program being organized there by the party later this afternoon.
