KATHMANDU, June 30: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted heavy rainfall in Nepal for the next three days.
According to the latest weather bulletin published by the MFD, heavy rainfall has been predicted in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province and Gandaki Province.
Heavy rainfall forecast for next three days
The weather will be generally to mostly cloudy throughout the country today.
Likewise, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at many places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and at a few places of Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudur Paschim Province today.
Similarly, there are high chances of heavy rainfall at a few places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and chances of very heavy rainfall at one or two places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.
The Flood Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged people living at river banks to stay alert as there are high chances of rise in the water level in the major rivers.
