KATHMANDU, June 13: Certain areas in the Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, along with some regions in the eastern part of Lumbini province, are currently experiencing the effects of monsoon winds, as reported by the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Also, there is an influence of the westerly winds in the western parts of the country.
According to the Division, there will be partly to generally cloudy weather across the country today.
Heavy rain predicted in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki areas
There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Likewise, heavy rain is likely at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, some areas of Koshi, Madhes, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces will receive light to moderate rain along with thunder and lightning tonight.
Heavy rainfall is predicted to occur in one or two locations in Koshi Province, according to the Division.
