KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Heavy rain is likely in some parts of the country today. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), there is a possibility of heavy rain in a few places in Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Some areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing light rainfall due to the influence of monsoon wind.
Chances of rain with thunder today
The weather across the country is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy this afternoon. The DHM also mentioned the possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as a few places in Madhesh and Gandaki provinces.
