Health ministry reports highest single-day recovery of 370 Covid-19 patients in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU, June 22: The Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) on Monday reported the recovery of 370 patients of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, June 22: The Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) on Monday reported the recovery of 370 patients of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Nepal.


According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the MoHP, 370 patients of Covid-19 including 32 females and 338 males were discharged after recovery from various hospitals across the nation.

Of the 370 recovered today, 265 patients were discharged from Dullu Hospital, Dailekh.


Also, six patients each of Covid-19 from Covid Special Hospital, Dang and Provincial Hospital Surket, 28 from Kalikot Hospital, 37 from Salyan Hospital, 11 from Narayani Hospital and 17 from Dhading Hospital were discharged after successful recovery from Covid-19.


So far 2,142 patients of Covid-19 have recovered in Nepal - 161 are females and 1,961 are males.


In the last 24 hours, the health ministry also confirmed 535 new cases of Covid-19 through 6,198 Polymerase Chain reaction (PCR) tests and 5,929 Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDT) in 22 different laboratories across the nation.
