Health Ministry reports 28th Covid-19 death in Nepal

KATHMANDU, June 27: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported the 28th Covid-19 death case in Nepal on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, June 27: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported the 28th Covid-19 death case in Nepal on Saturday.


Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the MoHP, during a daily media briefing, said that a 50 years old man from Godavari Municipality-7 of Kailali District succumbed to Covid-19 earlier today at 6:35 am.

The deceased was undergoing treatment at an Isolation Center in Bharatpur Hospital after testing positive for the virus on June 25.


It has been reported that he was also suffering from lung cancer and had undergone treatment in India and Chitwan Medical College.


The MoHP also reported 554 new cases and 136 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
