RAUTAHAT, July 16: Subodh Kumar Singh, Head Constable of Nepal Police working at the Area Police Office, Nawalpur, has been arrested with a large quantity of banned drugs.

Police recovered 446 bottles of Corex and 153 bottles of Wincerex, which were hidden in the sugarcane field by Head Constable Singh. After the recovery of a large quantity of drugs, the team of District Police Office, Malangwa arrested Singh.

According to SP Praveen Pokharel at the District Police Office, Sarlahi, police came to know that the activities of Head Constable Singh were suspicious and the vigilance was increased against him. Police eventually found out that Singh had hidden banned drugs in a sugarcane field. 

When police conducted the search, three sacks full of drugs were found in the sugarcane field. Two empty bottles of Corex were also recovered from the room of Head Constable Singh.
