CHITWAN, Mar 17: Attempts have been made to set an official of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital on fire by pouring diesel over him. 

Legal Officer of Hospital Gokarna Sapkota was misbehaved at 8:00 this morning near Machhapuchhre Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7. According to Sapkota, two persons coming on a bike stopped him and sprayed diesel. "They snatched my t-shirt but I managed to escape," he shared adding that they were preparing to set him on fire. 

Sapkota also said that the persons coming on bike held talks with him asking if he was Gokarna Bista. 

Sapkota added that a person poured diesel on to him while next one seized him. He, however, said that it was difficult to trace out the wrong doers. 

After the squabbles and noises, the locals gathered and the two persons ran away, Sapkota said. 

Sapkota is also the district Chairman of Human Rights and Social Transformation Campaign (CAHURAST) and general member of Nepal Bar Association Chitwan Chapter. RSS
