KATHMANDU, AUGUST 31: A team from Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) on Wednesday inspected the underground area of Central Plaza located in Narayanchaur.
The KMC team and representatives of the ward office visited the Plaza to monitor whether the underground area of the complex is being used for parking or other purposes.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced
Kathmandu Municipal Police Chief Raju Pandey said that the underground area of Central Plaza is being used for parking purposes as per the Plaza’s underground map. He said that the ground floor is not used according to the map and a technical team is performing examinations to confirm this.
Pandey said, “The underground area has been built according to the map. But the ground floor is not found in accordance with the map and design approved by the metropolis. Engineers are checking to confirm this."
Pandey also stated that the decision will be made only after comparing the map shown by the Central Plaza and the map of the Plaza available in the Metropolitan’s Design Approval Department.
