REPUBLICA, Sept 2: Greenfield has booked its place in the final of the Pushpa Sadan Cup Inter-school Basketball Tournament defeating Bright Horizon 59-55 on Friday.

In the semifinal match played at Pushpa Sadan's court Kirtipur, Anish Bhandari scored the highest 22 points for the winning team.

For the title, Greenfield will vie against host Pushpa Sadan which overcame Radiant Public School 50-45 in another semifinal match.

In the junior section of the tournament as well, host Pushpa Sadan cemented its place in the final beating Greenfield 38-23.

The host will face Nerik Academy for the title as it defeated Innovative 43-31.

Ashim Bhandari contributed highest 16 points for Nerik.

The final matches of both senior and junior sections will be held on Saturday at Pushpa Sadan's court in Kirtipur.
