KATHMANDU, June 6: The government has withdrawn its earlier decision to enforce two-day a week public holiday beginning June 15.

A cabinet meeting held on Monday took a decision to this effect amidst widespread criticisms that the decision was not practical and service seekers were forced to face additional hassles, according to a cabinet minister.
